If you’re searching for a unique dining experience in Port Dalhousie, look no further than The Twisted Pig. This week, Scott and I had the pleasure of indulging in their delightful menu, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Drinks and StartersI kicked off the evening with my usual—a perfectly crafted dirty martini. 

For our starter, we couldn't resist the featured baked brie. It came with spiced blueberry jam, candied pecans, honey, and microgreens. We’re big fans of baked brie and order it wherever we go, but this one was exceptional. The combination of the sweet blueberries and candied pecans on salty, toasted thinly sliced baguette was a delightful mix of flavours. 

Main Courses: For my main, I opted for the Carbonara, featuring linguine, guanciale, egg yolk, and pecorino romano. It was rich but perfectly balanced, not overly salty, and incredibly satisfying. I couldn’t finish it all, so I have some leftovers to enjoy for lunch. 

Scott chose the Twisted Spaghetti + Meatballs, which included beef, pork, and ricotta meatballs, house-made stracciatella, spaghetti, and tomato sauce. He was equally impressed and, like me, had enough left over for another meal. The portions are generous, allowing you to savour the deliciousness all over again. 

Overall Experience The Twisted Pig never disappoints. The ambiance is inviting, the service is impeccable, and the food is absolutely delicious.
