5 Niagara Breweries to Visit This Father’s Day

If Dad's more into hops than holes-in-one, you’re in luck. The Niagara Region is home to some incredible craft breweries, each with its own local flair and Father’s Day-worthy atmosphere. Here are five we love for a laid-back celebration:

1. Silversmith Brewing Co. (Virgil)
Housed in a former church, this brewery pairs gothic architecture with smooth, delicious craft beer. Their signature Black Lager is a must-try, and the vibe inside is both cozy and unique. There’s a great little patio too, if the weather’s nice.

2. Counterpart Brewing (Niagara Falls)
This modern taproom serves up bold beers with an experimental twist. The rotating menu always has something new, and they take pride in doing things a little differently. The food menu is equally impressive, so it’s a great place to grab lunch and stay a while.

3. Bench Brewing Company (Beamsville)
Surrounded by vineyards and farmland, Bench is a gorgeous spot with seriously good beer. Their large outdoor beer garden is perfect for Father’s Day lounging. Try the Stone Road White or one of their tart farmhouse ales for something refreshing.

4. Brimstone Brewing Company (Ridgeway)
Another church-turned-brewery (Niagara has a theme!), Brimstone has a cool, laid-back vibe and a selection of well-balanced, easy-drinking beers. It’s tucked away in Ridgeway, so it feels like a little hidden gem perfect for a Sunday outing.

5. Kame & Kettle Beer Works (Fonthill)
Small but mighty, this nano-brewery offers a super local, community-driven experience. The beers are always rotating and the owners are often behind the bar. It’s a low-key, authentic spot to chill with Dad and try something new.

Craft beer, great vibes, and quality time? Sounds like a pretty perfect Father’s Day to us.
